A the entrance of the building, two wollen thread balls (one pink, one burgundy) are tagged with the words The conduct of conducts. They are initially separated, but then merged as the enter the hallway. They dispappear in an electrical circuit to reappear at the end of the hallway. The pink thread (the conducts) ends at the bottom of the wall, whereas the burgundy one (the conduct) draws on the white wall under the spotlight the sign “One Way”, with arrows on both sides.
I used the architecture (entrance door, main hallway, electrical circuit...) and the location (Art School) as the conceptual background. I used recycled thread and pins to be able to draw the One Way sign, giving it a subtlety as well as a very rigid and angular quality.
